Forthcoming Short Film - Watching Kaylee

Fourteen year old Kaylee bribes her younger sister, Ashlyn, to keep a secret from her parents when she invites her new boyfriend over for the evening. Ashlyn agrees not to tell but has some secret plans of her own. Ashlyn and her friend decide to spy on the young couple but things quickly go downhill when they realize they might not be the only ones… Watching Kaylee.

The Garage Sale is a short comedy starring Taylor McCreary (The Card Game) and is directed by Dave Reynolds and Breanna McCreary. To track the progress of the film, check our Projects page periodically.

Sylph - Short Film Completed

Thin Soapy Films' latest completed project, Sylph, was directed by Dave Reynolds based on the script by Mark Surgenor. Thin Soapy Films held an online short screenplay contest in early 2007 and Mark's screenplay was chosen to be turned into a film. The film was shot in September of 2007 and finished in June of 2008. The DVD of Sylph will be available on our Projects page soon.

Principal Photography Wraps on Sylph

After all that could go wrong did, we finally managed to shoot the short film Sylph, with the script by Mark Surgenor that was the winner in our Short Screenplay contest earlier this year.

The weather was near-perfect for the exteriors, although it was a little cold that first morning until the sun came up, and most everything went according to schedule.

I would like to thank our fine actors for their performances and the crew for all of their hard work, which made the shooting go as planned. I am confident that we will have a great little film on our hands by year's end.
