Synopsis
Fourteen year old Kaylee bribes her younger sister, Ashlyn, to keep a secret from her parents when she invites her new boyfriend over for the evening. Ashlyn agrees not to tell but has some secret plans of her own. Ashlyn and her friend decide to spy on the young couple but things quickly go downhill when they realize they might not be the only ones… Watching Kaylee.
The Characters
Kaylee is young and just might be in love. Her biggest worries are what to wear for the big night and just how much food to order. Her plan is simple: bribe Ashlyn with her favourite, Chinese food – instead of the boring old pizza mom and dad left just enough money for – then go down to the basement and spend a quiet evening with Chad, watching a movie. Or something.
Ashlyn (Taylor McCreary; The Garage Sale, The Card Game) is the smart sister who doesn’t really care that Kaylee wants to have a boy over – but she’ll take the Chinese food over the pizza any day. Chad is the young dude who thinks he’s got the world on a string when he gets the invite to hang out at Kaylee’s. Free food, a pretty girl and a movie – what could be better?
